Definately one of local's favorites. Good value meals

Great food at reasonable price! The fried chicken is light and tasty. Samurai don is basically chirashi don which is raw fishes on top of sushi rice. Curry is nice but on the heavy side.

Recent renovation is a bonus, it doesn't add to the consistent taste of this Hawthorn locals favourite.
Nothing fancy, all the usual Japanese fares, hence we tend to order the same food over and over again.
Can it be one of the best value for Japanese food?
